Germany-Zhejiang Investment & Trade Cooperation Promotion Conference
On February 9, 2023, Häuzig Consulting & Communication GmbH participated in the conference to promote bilateral cooperation in investment and trade between the province of Zhejiang and Germany.
The event was organized by the Ministry of Economy of the Province of Zhejiang and supported by the China Competence Center Düsseldorf, Duisburg Business & Innovation GmbH, KREFELD BUSINESS, IHK Düsseldorf, DCW, and the Chinese Enterprises Association in NRW e.V. The program began with greetings from honored guests and presentations about the Zhejiang economic location. The program was opened with a speech by Mr. Du Chunguo, Consul General of the People's Republic of China in Düsseldorf. Following Mr. Du, Mr. Felix Neugart, CEO of NRW.Global Business, and Mr. Shi Qiqi, Deputy Director of the Trade Ministry of the Province of Zhejiang, spoke. They were followed by Mr. Ralf Schlindwein, International Managing Director of the IHK Düsseldorf, Ms. Annette Klerks, Deputy Director at the Economic Development Düsseldorf, and Mr. Markus Teuber, China representative of the city of Duisburg. The presentation of the selected economic districts from the city of Huzhou and the Deqing and Changxing districts was given by Mr. Zhu Xinqiang, Director of the Investment Service Center of the New Taihu District, and the respective deputy county mayors, Mr. Wang Zhenquan and Mr. Wu Bin.
After three years of the pandemic, the world is receiving new opportunities for development, and the potential for cooperation between China and Germany in the areas of production, new energies, healthcare, and digitization is growing again. The visit of the Zhejiang economic delegation is a good signal for the exchange and further cooperation at the beginning of the year.
